The Journey
By the end of this retreat, each man will carry a clear, embodied definition of God, masculinity, and femininity — not as concepts, but as lived experience.
Synergy & Connection — Shadow Work
We open with ceremony, story, and shadow work. Cold plunge, breathwork, fire. We connect with ourselves and each other at a depth most men have never experienced.
The Feminine
We examine the feminine — internal and external — and clarify our relationship to women, to our mothers, and to the cycles of life we have been unconsciously shaped by.
The Warrior Archetype & The Agoge
We define masculinity through dialogue, then embody it through battle. The Agoge tests the warrior in each man. Rest well — the initiation begins before dawn.
The Initiation
4:30am. Mt. McLaughlin. What happens between dawn and dusk belongs to the mountain. You will pass through a threshold. You will not be the same man who drove up.
Huachuma Heart Activation
A full day of Huachuma ceremony. A plant medicine used for thousands of years for heart opening, clarity, and communion with the sacred masculine. Held with care.
Solo Quest
Silence begins. You meet yourself without distraction. The day ends at the fire with Hapé — silence is broken and what was found in solitude is brought into the brotherhood.
Integration
We bring what we have found back into our lives. Integration workshop, closing ceremony, and departure. Go well. Go deep. Go together.
What's Included
The only thing you arrange is your transportation to the land. Everything else is taken care of.
Accommodation
Six nights on the land, near Ashland, Oregon.
All Meals
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks throughout the retreat.
Huachuma Ceremony
Full-day plant medicine ceremony on Day Five, held in sacred container.
All Facilitation
Shadow work, story workshops, warrior training, solo quest, integration.
The Agoge
Physical warrior training and embodiment on Day Three.
Mt. McLaughlin Initiation
Full-day threshold crossing on Day Four. Transportation included.
The Investment

Your Guide
Maxgian
Men's Coach & Retreat Facilitator
Maxgian works at the intersection of Jungian psychology, somatic practice, and masculine initiation. He has guided men through ceremony and deep inner work across multiple continents, including previous retreats in Peru.
He is currently completing his certification through the CHEK Institute and his approach integrates holistic health, shadow work, and rites of passage. His belief is simple: most men are capable of far more than the world has asked of them.
